Characterization of Aquatic Plants  August 2019

Last August 2019, three teams of ALSCE members inspected and took samples of the aquatic plants growing in Lakes Solar, Caroline and Evans for anaysis by the Conseil régional de l'environnement des Laurentides (CRE). Preliminary results from CRE indicate no apparent change in plant species compared to findings published in our fall 2018 newsletter and no trace of Eurasian Watermilfoil in our lakes.

We expect the full report from the CRE to be tabled sometime before spring 2020 and we will ensure we publish the full findings of the report in our spring newsletter and on our website.
